IndigenousACCESS is designed as a rapid-response tool to help users locate information and resources related to extreme hazards and severe weather events in the Pacific Northwest.

The site exists solely to support emergency preparedness, response, and community resilience across the region.

Purpose of the Site

  • Provide a quick way to find publicly available emergency information, including hazard updates, weather advisories, river forecasts, and contact resources.

  • Support tribal nations, responders, and community members during high-impact weather and natural hazard events.

  • Serve as a non-commercial, community-support tool. IndigenousACCESS does not generate profit, sell services, or collect data for commercial use.

  • All content is gathered from publicly available, reputable sources to support real-time emergency work.

  • Contact information and agency references are verified against official sources whenever possible.

  • While we strive to maintain accurate and up-to-date information, errors or delays may occur. Users should always cross-check critical information with official agencies.

Important Safety Notice

  • In any life-threatening emergency, always call 911 immediately.

  • For the latest river forecasts, flood warnings, and detailed meteorological information, monitor:

    • nwrfc.noaa.gov

    • weather.gov
      These sites should be checked continuously through December 20 or throughout any ongoing hazard period.
